2015-01-12

The project "Christmas for OVC in Cote d'Ivoire" reached its apotheosis on Saturday, December 20, 2014 by the award ceremony of the 3 best students in each class in the three elementary schools in the municipality of Kpouebo.

This activity was attended by several families, including those of the 75 recipients, and more than 250 people, including more than 120 children, girls and boys.

The Volunteers, mandated by Engaged For Children to conduct the ceremony, have offered gifts to the recipients while encouraging them to remain among the best students in school. The parents have also been sensitized to support their children's learning and to consider formal education of their children as their top priority in order to improve their living conditions. Recipients were very happy to receive gifts and have thus expressed their thanks to the NGO.

After the award ceremony, the celebration continued with musical entertainment, dance competitions and other games to cheer up the children.

To close the activity, a meal was served to the guests, parents and children.
